Each fall, your student embarks on a significant journey as a college student at Drexel University. After 18 years of living at home with family and friends, the transition to campus can be overwhelming - for you and for your student.
That's why Hillel is here. Hillel at Drexel connects Jewish students with each other to build lasting Jewish friendships and helps students connect to Judaism in ways that are relevant and meaningful to them as they navigate their lives at Drexel and beyond. Hillel depends on parents to sustain and nourish this integral part of the lives of the more than 800 Jewish undergraduate students at Drexel, and we invite parents to get involved.
What is your student's involvement in Jewish life worth? For example, the cost of one Shabbat dinner alone is $15 per person, materials for building a Sukkah on campus and holding Sukkot activities costs more than $360, and bringing a thought-provoking speaker to campus can be $500 or more. What is the value of her experience beyond the actual costs of a program? How many friends did he make through Hillel activities? How many positive Jewish memories were built? We believe your child’s experience at Hillel is worth a lot. Please don’t just rely on the generosity of others to cover the costs. Your support now will allow Hillel at Drexel to continue its strong, diverse programming and ensure our vibrant Jewish future.
