______President
- Additional responsibilities
- Maintain Relations between the University administration and JSA.
- Maintain Relations between recognized University student organizations and Hillel/JSA.
- Maintain Relations between the student body and Hillel/JSA.
- Preside over general and executive board meetings.
- Serve as member of Executive Board
- Serve as a liaison between Hillel/JSA and the Office of Campus Activities.
- Prepare the agendas and conduct the student board meetings.
- Prepare and conduct leadership development exercises at Executive Board meetings.
- Serve as Direct supervisor of Treasurer, Secretary, and Vice President.
- Serve as the Conductor of Elections in the year following your term
- Sets goals and objectives for each semester to be presented to the Board at the beginning of each semester.
- Work with Greek Life, Residence Life, Interfaith Council, Office of Campus Activities and other campus groups to create partnerships for Hillel/JSA programming and initiatives
______Vice-President
- Additional responsibilities
- Create and maintain a membership recruitment and retention program.
- Serve as a liaison between Hillel/JSA Executive Board and Committee Chairs.
- Serve as a public voice for Hillel.
- Supervise any special committees that arise.
- Supervise, train, evaluate, and assist the Committee Chairs.
______Treasurer
- Additional responsibilities
- Work with all board members, and Hillel professional staff to develop, update, and submit SAFAC budget requests to the university by policy deadline.
- Work with the board to plan and implement at least one fundraising event per quarter.
- Work with the committee chairs to ensure money is collected at all events for which there is a charge.
- Maintain the budget throughout the semester.
- Work with the Hillel staff and SAFAC advisor to keep the financial records in working order.
- Work with chairs to secure program grants.
- Serve as Member of Executive Board.
______Secretary
- Additional responsibilities
- Take minutes at all Hillel/JSA Board Meetings and distribute copies to all board members and staff members within 3 days of that meeting.
- Responsible for all outside correspondence on behalf of the Hillel/JSA board (thank-you notes, invitations, letters, applications, Facebook groups, etc.)
- Submit all programs to the campus events web page of the University.
- Responsible for creation, duplication, and posting of flyers, posters, and any other publicity.
- Maintain facebook status of Hillel group.
- To maintain a record of all actions and correspondence of Hillel/JSA.
- Serve as Member of the Executive Board.
- Work with Hillel staff to promote and coordinate Hillel/JSA programs.
______Israel Chair
- Additional responsibilities
- Promote Israel advocacy through on campus events and work with other student organizations
- Will work with the Hillel Israel Program Coordinator and Campus interns to effectively advocate for Israel on Campus
- Provide both education and cultural Israel events
- Create a supportive environment on campus for different views and opinions that ultimately support Israel and its right to exist.
______Community Service Chair
- Additional responsibilities
- Provide information and opportunities for students to participate in Service opportunities at Drexel and throughout the greater community
- Provide a Jewish context for community service and action
______Shabbat Chair
- Additional responsibilities
- Facilitate and execute Shabbat dinner and programs
- Make sure all materials are transported from Hillel to Shabbat location
- Select volunteers to lead Shabbat blessings, make announcements and assist in cleanup
- Coordinate and/or support additional and alternative Shabbat programming
- Coordinate General board for tasks associated with Shabbat(promotion, Jewish content, etc…)
______Jewish Education Chair
- Additional responsibilities
- Provide access to Jewish education encompassing the many diverse aspects of Jewish culture, tradition, and heritage, people- and nationhood.
- Provide informal and formal Jewish learning opportunities on campus and in Hillel
- Generate innovative ideas and discussion about Jewish education on campus and serve as a framework for support, assistance, and feedback in carrying out specific programs including but not limited to:

iv. Interfaith programs and events

HILLEL STUDENT BOARD ATTENDANCE POLICY
As a Hillel/JSA Student board member, I am responsible for attending all board meetings throughout the entire year. If I am unable to attend due to a legitimate conflict, I must be excused by the President and find a representative from the board to carry out my responsibilities at the meeting. Failure to comply will result in an unexcused absence. Two unexcused absences within one quarter will be grounds for impeachment from the board.
