As a candidate for Hillel/JSA Board, I agree to the following responsibilities should I be elected:
- Be on campus for the entire period of my office.
- Attend any and all Board Leadership Seminars.
- Meet regularly with Hillel staff to set vision and direction for Hillel/JSA board.
- Serve as a public voice for Hillel.
- Work to secure program grants to supplement budget.
- Assist in the preparation of community wide events.
- Participate in membership recruitment and retention programming.
- Attend weekly board meetings
- Planning and organizing my respective events and programs
- Submitting appropriate pre-event materials to Hillel staff
- Appropriate promotion of events
- Appropriate follow up to events
- Submit appropriate materials to assist in creation of SAFAC budget.
HILLEL STUDENT BOARD ATTENDANCE POLICY
As a Hillel/JSA Student board member, I am responsible for attending all board meetings throughout the entire year. If I am unable to attend due to a legitimate conflict, I must be excused by the President and find a representative from the board to carry out my responsibilities at the meeting. Failure to comply will result in an unexcused absence. Two unexcused absences within one quarter will be grounds for impeachment from the board.

I understand that serving as a board member of Hillel/JSA is both an honor and a responsibility. I also understand that I can be removed from office if I do not comply with the above.
