Kosher Freshman Living Community

We are happy to share Drexel University Housing has incorporated the Kosher/Shabbat-friendly housing registration within the general Housing application! When you fill out your housing application, one of the steps will be asking if you want a Kosher/Shabbat-friendly dorm. Applications due by May 1st.

Kosher/Shabbat-friendly housing consists of a suite with a kosher kitchen for our Shomer/Kashrut first-year students in Van Rensselaer Hall (located at Powelton and 33rd, within the University City eruv). Based on the number of interested students, 1-4 suites will have their kitchens kashered.

Questions? Consult the Drexel Housing step-by-step guide, then contact Rabbi Isabel de Koninck, Executive Director and Campus Rabbi, for any further questions.
